Looks fantastic, what is that white stuff in the pic???? Yes I know it's snow, it is forecasted for here today as well.

nice looking bike and have fun riding it...
what is that white stuff all over the ground? One of the grainery mills have an explosion and spread flour all over everything?

here is a link to the MADCO site for the throttle lock - Clicky
Thanks for the link. That is the one I had been looking for. I ordered a few minutes ago.

Nice bike. You will be very happy with it.

Don't worry - you're not the only one not riding today. Here north of Dallas we had 3 inches of the stuff...folks further north and west of me had 6" of it. Anyway, congratulations on the new FJR. I can't imagine how hard it must be to not be able to ride a new bike. So tell us, how many hours have you sat on it in the garage, twisted the throttle and made vroom vroom noises? :)

Sat on it and made "vroom, vroom" noises? Don't be ridiculous!! I only have about 20 coats of wax on it since putting the first farkels on it. Now that I think of it, I think it may need a dusting off again. Excuse me, I have to go to the garage again!

It is the "cam lock sport". Order the 'type b" model because your throttle cables go out the bottom of your throttle housing. I'm at work now, otherwise I would snap a pic and post it. It is hard to see how the lock works from the pic on the MADCO site, but if you look at the picture. those two rabbit ear looking things have metal pins mounted in them. These pins go on either side of your throttle housing as you slide the throttle lock into position. They are what keeps the throttle lock from turning with the throttle. It is made of aluminum, and had the polished version on my VTX. It looks like it belongs there unlike the Vista Cruise. Comes with a keyringed little wrench to adjust the friction, and is easy and intuitive to use!
