Bungie
FrostBack #2 - IBA # 44620
So I'm out for a ride today and just as soon as I stop my phone starts ringing. Good timing, its Peter (IBR5000 finisher). He's on his way back from Sault Ste. Marie and wants to know what I'm doing for dinner. I have plans but tell him to call me when he gets close and we'll grab a coffee.
"What are doing in SSM?"
"Just picking up my bike, got in the back of my truck".
Now, the depth of what he said doesn't hit me until after we end the call. "Oh no!" Not his IBR bike!
So 3hrs later he gives me a call and we meet up for a cup of coffee. Sure enough, he wheels in with his bike in the back of the truck.
With no fairing.
And missing most of the side panels. AW CRAP!
Then I remember, wait a second, his bike was the fastest of all years, a magnificent Cerulean Silver beast. Just like mine. This bike looks like somebody cut the nose off a bass boat. It's an 05! Still one of the fast ones.
Peter's laughing as he gets out of the truck, he must've put 2 and 2 together and set me up. Dry sense of humour these IBR guys have.
Seems he picked himself up a parts/track day bike. I knew he was looking for some wheels but I didn't know he meant WHEELS.
Had a cup of coffee and shot the shit for a bit. Good guy to talk to with lots of stories. Were gonna get together for a ride before the big dance in June.
But the best part of this bike?
