Just to add my $.02 worth, and I agree whole-heartedly with LUSBOY, that when or if your going to make a deal with the dealer, have them write up or you write up the OTD price without the phoney baloney prep/setup fees, and include the final price. Then........have them sign and date it. They hate that but you won't be sorry you did.

Also I purchased the Y.E.S. warranty from D&H for less than anyone I could find. And it is good at "any" Yamaha dealer in the US or elsewhere and the dealer could care less if your bike was bought at another dealer. Your service or repair won't be gauged on where you bought it. I purchased a '07 in March with 100 mi on it (from Dealer) for 12.5. But that included the following add-ons:

Trunk

Heated Grips

2- yr extended warraty

Touring Windshield

The accessories are over $700. I don't know the cost of the extended warranty.

Dealers have a lot of margin on accessories, so it's a good way to squeeze some extra value out of the deal.
