I rode it home from the dealer last night at 7:15. About a 30 mile ride, mostly slab and then I put it to bed

and started reading the owners manual. I think I am gonna like this ride. Compared to the Wing it is like a cheetah!! Da aamn it seems quick, but then I have only ridden cruisers and the Wing before. It had some vibration in the bars at highway speed but I can get used to that. Can't stop

I had mine out without the side cases for the first time last night, riding mostly in sport mode. I know there's been a thread or two about whether there is any difference in performance/dynamics, etc. with cases on/off and I don't intend to re-do that topic but I have to say, ridden solo without the cases and in sport mode, this bike really does become something very close to a sport bike (at least until you come to a stop sign and you feel the weight).

Daaaamn it is fast! I have had 3 Wings, a couple of cruisers, and a few other bikes. Outside of the CBR, the FJR is the quickest and fastest bike I've owned. Giddy-up!

Congrats! The wing's engine is automotive smooth.. I just never liked the bulk of the bike.. I hope you like your new ride as much as I like mine. I'm so glad I made the move over to an FJR

Thanks to all. I think it is going to be a great ride! The pollen is so bad in North Georgia right now I hate to get it out and have it covered in yellow dust in 10 minutes.

Don't forget to vary your speed for break in......all highway speed is not good.
