I ordered a front Storm Ultra today, to go with a little used regular Storm rear. The front regular Storm was cupped so bad at 3400 miles that I removed the set and replaced them with the PRII's. I currently have 10780 miles on the PRII's and they look great! It might be a while before I get to try the Ultra.

I love Avon tires. Run them on my Airhead too. The original Storm is a particular favorite of mine, especially given how well they performed when I had a valve stem failure at 70 mph. I'll be running the new Ultra 2s next.

I had been debating whether to go back to Avon's - the problem I had with the 2nd rear Storm it was losing air but considered that I got this from when I went to the Texas Nationals(rock private road). I found a small puncture and didn't want to plug a tire as I had been down that rode with a Bridgestone rear tire.

So this winter here has not been good for washing the mud off the bike and continued adding air every few days. Finally got a decent day to give it a good scrubbing so while rinsing off the tire thought I would check for additional bubblers. This is when I decided it was time to get a new set of skins. Decided to go with PR2's and a spec B rear to get the extra ply.

I liked the handling of the Avon compared to the original Bridgestones but tyres seem to be like beer-everybody has a brew they prefer?
