So, The Niners-Saints game go down in history as the most exciting playoff game in the history of the NFL, the teams scored a total of 4 times in just over 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Hats off to the Niners (my team) on the win, a well deserved salute to the Saints for one helluva effort.

In other games, the Broncos failed to show up, the Packers were too damn good a team to play the game like they were the cowboys, it caught them..

The Ravens (thugs)won, Root for the Patriots this comming weekend, and of course, the Niners!!

thats sports in a wrap... film at 11:00

Amen, brother Eddie!! GO NINERS! It's been a long time in the desert after a remarkable era of domination, but we Faithful are again being treated to a damn fine exhibition of TEAM football on both sides of the ball (and special teams) -- the signature of past great Forty-Niner teams.

I thought the Saints had won that game twice, only to watch our team come all the way back. What a great football game that was, regardless of who won! That game could have gone either way, depending on as little as one play having a different result. THAT game and those rare gems like it are the reason I remain a fan of NFL football after abandoning nearly every other pro sport. Two apparently great match ups are coming our way this Sunday, but I'm hoping for a Harbaugh rematch (from the short week match-up on Thanksgiving) in the Super Bowl.

Go Niners! It has been quite a drought. We were spoiled during the Joe Montana/ Steve Young years. It has been so painful over the last how many years that I stopped watching. Last weeks game vs the Saints was amazing but I'll still take Montana and company vs the Bengals way back when.

As a Patriots fan -- the Denver Fillies did show up -- Brady just showed them how to play.

I am really happy the Pats have a chance to beat the Ravens after what they did to the Patriots a couple years ago. I think payback is gonna be a *****.

Good to see the niners rise again, but first year wonder teams usually falter.

The Saints-Niners game the best playoff ever?! Maybe one of the best endings, but an entire game? That is saying a bit too much.

I am torn between wanting a rematch of the 2007 Superbowl (if the Pats make it there), but with a different ending, or seeing the niners returning to semi-glory. Semi glory because they would be losing to the Patriots and Tom Brady.

Remember the year Terrific Tom -- a 49'ers fan no less -- was drafted, the 9ers chose another quarterback before Tom. Supposedly he has never forgotten that.

I may be and frequently I am wrong on these things, but I believe the Patriots have a two tight-end with a slot-wideout offense that teams can't stop for long. I think this may be the year the Pats regain some glory and break hearts again in the NFL.

As a Ravens season ticket holder I look forward to a 49ers Ravens rematch similar to Thanksgiving Day. I am also hoping for the same outcome. VBG

Hope for a quarterback so you might make it to the SB next year. :p

I know the Niners are looking good, but? The Pat's offense is well, just offensive. The Ravens couldn't even beat the Seahawks, nor could the Giants. Interesting weekend, indeed. Think I'll go skiing. :)

I plowed snow and reloaded ammo. Gave up on watching the last of the gladiators when the celebrity status got to be to much. :angry2:

I have a feeling they will be looking for a field goal kicker more so than a QB. It was a decent game until then.
