That was definitely the wife and I then.Yes, yes you were. Was it being chased by a Spyder?
Oh, I'm not sure I agree with that! 2 hours is about max for me on my FZ1 (with OEM gel seat), but the amount of smiles during those 2 hours is like the number of grains of sand on the beach. There are a lot of nice looking Harleys, but there are also a lot that are not comfortable to ride for very long. Any bike that you can't stand riding for more than an hour or two is not worth wasting time on no matter how good it looks.
Are they expensive to work on? I'm surprised. I thought they would be simple to work on.Just because they've been in business for 111 years doesn't mean they make that great a product.I don't think I would knock any motorcycle company that has been in business for 111 years.
It means they have great marketing.
It amazes me how so many people think Harley is the be all of motorcycling.
I've had quite a few people say to me over the years, "don't you want a Harley some day"
If it wasn't for the Japanese they'd probably still be making the same motor from the 50's.
To me, a Harley is everything a motorcycle shouldn't be.
Poor handeling
Too heavy.
Underpowered
Poor brakes.
Expensive (anything but a Sportster)
Not as reliable
Expensive to work on
Only good thing is they hold their value better than a Japanese bike.
That being said it's your money to buy what you want, they just don't impress me at all.
Caught her, too.Yes, yes you were. Was it being chased by a Spyder?Lauren, I saw that BMW in Kingsgate late yesterday afternoon.
