Guess he figures this season is history and his time on the Honda is probably limited, so, why risk it.

Yeah, I'm sure his feeling is more of relief than truly upset. Remember, he rode (secretly) with a badly injured shoulder for the rest of the season after the Pedrosa collision, so Nicky can tough it out when necessary. "Hey, Dr. Ting, can you give me a note for work?"
