I subscribe to the live feed and this morning during qualifying the commentators said that Hayden was essentially ****** around by Repsol and HRC. They told him he had to earn the right to be on the new engine, and finally he was deemed worthy.
They said that when his contract was over at the end of the season, Repsol might have Dovizioso lined up to take his spot. They also speculated that Sete Giberneau would be replacing Melandri for the remainder of this season after Donnington, and that Hayden is rumored to have signed with Ducati for next year.
How's that for a whole lot of speculation, apparantly based on articles in the Spanish and Italian press.
