A couple of stories confirming the change :yahoo:

Next year should be interesting to say the least. Specially since Pedrosa could produce after his hissy fit over tires last week.

I wonder if Ducati will revise the power electronics and let more of the power be uncorked so Nicky can slide it more...can't wait to see him on it. This year has been a waste of his time and talent at Honda :glare:

Speaking of which, did you see how much Pedrosa got booed at Indianapolis? Crikey.

No NBC barely gave the intro to the race and the race was started. Would have been good to hear. I like seeing cry babies get what they deserve. Wait til Rossi really starts messing with Pedrosa. Can you say Giberneau :D

Pedrosa is going to have to get close enough to the front to have Rossi messing with him. :glare:

Also Dovisioso is rumored to have Nicky's seat at Repsol Honda. Pedrosa will have his hands full with his paddock mate next year.

Sounds good to me about Nicky/Ducati....I wish the big 3 networks would just leave motorcycle races To,Speed/TNT/ESPN......

I can't overemphasize the value of buying the Dorna package at www.motogp.com

I probably wouldn't bother for the remainder of the current season, but for next season, when you consider that the cost of the normal resolution package is less than one ticket to the Indy MotoGP race, and when you consider that you get qualifying as well as the race, in real time or later if you like, it is money well spent. Plus you get all the interviews and news report videos which are not available as free content at the site.

If you're the kind of guy who watches the races every time they're on TV, get a subscription. I waited until this year, and I have been really happy with it. Its the best money I've spent to watch motorcycle racing. In the past I just watched the free live timing and then caught the race on a network. Going with the webcast all the way was definitely worth it to me.

Problem is, the difference between watching them on TV vs the computer is night and day. I keep thinking I'll get a subscription until I realize that, even with a 30" computer monitor, it's not as nice as a 50" HD Surround Sound TV set and my fave spot on the couch. :)

Won't argue the quality difference between computer monitor -v- 50" HD TV, that's pretty much a no-brainer.

Something else to consider is the huge difference in content. I will never, ever forget watching one of the 2005 MotoGP races on SpeedTV, going to commercial with Rossi in 7th position and coming back from commercial to find him in 2nd position! WTF? No explanation. No reference to it for the rest of the race. My buddy and I just sat there dumbfounded. Later, my buddy let me watch his downloaded version of the race from MotoGP.com. Wow, HUGE difference. Not only was the mystery solved but there was lots of lead in commentary and at least 20 minutes of post race coverage.

Also speaking of which, did you catch this beautiful sight???

Agreed Nicky is way over due to change over to another team or should I say a "real team". And hopefully the bike will be a way better match to his style of riding than the new Honda he rode in 08.

Of note as the photo above shows Ben Spies gaining ground could be a sign of things to come as well. Also will be rooting for Ben. The next season will be interesting to say the least. Can't wait and don't forget to watch or set your DVR's for the race Sunday in Japan. The 250's and the big boys are on Speed this race. PM. <>< :yahoo:
