Thanks to my friends in this forum, I have been awaken from my dream state and no longer have any fantasies about the K1300GT. It probably is a very nice ride with many convenient features however, the price really causes one to re-evaluate. The family CFO would allow the purchase but she said something has to go before a new steed is added. Therein lies the problem. I am very, very pleased with the FJR and the Wing. I also own both bikes outright and would take a real hosing by trading. Rather than lust after the new, bigger, faster, stronger import, I decided that what I have is sufficient to quench my thirst. If the FJR had an electronic cruise, it would be perfect. Though a full figured girl, the Wing is well suited for cross country rides on interstates when required. I am now past the temptation and back to reality. Instead, I'll just enjoy my good fortune and ride on.

Remedy for cruise control...DON'T ride on the slabs...twisty roads and two lane connector roads only.

Kevin, if I may call you by your first name, this is probably the most mature thing EVER posted on FJRFORUM. Well done, sir.

I'm an truly hoping to catch this level of maturity soon - my wife would be thrilled if I did... :D

Ditto on the being very, very pleased with the FJR. Tough - very tough - to find a better cost/benefit relationship in other bikes.
