Looking for a nice blue FJR with ABS, heated grips, corbin or other aftermarket saddle, and possibly a top box. Will wait for the right deal.

What I have for possible trade: An '82 Yamaha xz550 Vision (rare) full fairing edition with 11k mi.

Please see link for further details & photo's: 1982 Yamaha zx550 Vision (rare) full fairing, 11k mi.

The '05 is a Gen 1 and the '06 is a Gen 2. You might want to check this out for a comparison. Also consider searching the site for relevant threads, like this one, though you may be dismayed by the amount of ass-hattery that goes on in these discussions.

Edit: Just found this and thought it might be helpful, too.

Thanks for those resources! Gen II is a no-brainer. I just went to Portland to put a deposit on a 2006 FJR with 10k mi. Nearly flawless and loaded with goodies.

I wish you were closer, we could have worked a deal with the vision and my 07 FJR. That looks like a cool old bike.
Thanks! I miss it now that it just sold. That same day I went to Portland to p/u my 2006 FJR! My brother is looking for a 2007, but may end up settling for a 2006 like I did. He's willing to fly in and ride one home.

BTW - how does one update the topic line?
