I vote for the Brodie "fix". I haven't tried mine yet but it could be the best solution that Yamaha didn't come up with.

Seconded. I'd have to pull off the gas tank to snap a picture, but the photos in the thread on the Brodie relay prove its existence. Peace of mind isn't something you can typically buy for a flat fee.

 
Adding the Bi-Xenon lights was my favorite low cost farkle. For $99 a light the difference at night is nothing short of amazing. I need to get a photo and post it later.

 
Gotta agree the Brodie ignition fix was a cost-effective, easy to install, and well made farkle.
