My wife and I are planning to come to this event and look forward to meeting, riding, and learning all about FJRs form the group. I mentioned this rally to a friend that I know through a Suzuki GS website: GSResources He mentioned that he'd like to attend but he doesn't have an FJR (not that he wouldn't love to have one but he's younger and can't afford an FJR just yet). Would he be welcome at this event on his older Suzuki?

Thanks,

Joe

I sure don't see why not..at WFO, Reno, there was Honda Rune sp?, a hog, a couple of beemers... it's all good.

Yes Yes Come one and all.
Thanks all! I didn't figure it would be a problem since we're all part of a brotherhood but I wanted to ask before inviting him. He's a good guy and you'll probably like him better than me!

I am glad someone asked that question as I am still a FJR wannabe but would like to attend and bend a few ears about the FJR . yr. 07 is going to change that.

So if you see an old duffer on a red R1100RT it will be me, I will buy the first round.

I think you'll find that most FJR owners would rather ride our bikes than clean them, rather talk curves, roads, weather & tires than poker runs, and purchase parts & accessories that 'perform' & don't 'shine'.

If that shoe fits your feet, you'll enjoy any FJR gathering, and most of the FJR owners also.

BTW, we rarely do a RTE (ride to eat) with Hooters as the destination...
