Mr. OrangevaleFJR --

Nice job putting this gala together. I'll already be on your side of the hill come Sat morning -so this works great.

I'll be with a buddy from Pollock Pines. Looks like we're in for some descent weather and good fun.

we'll be there. Thanks much

Sorry I missed the Jackson ride a few weeks ago -spontaneous Saddle Sore that day instead ...but no deviating from this one.

cheers from reno ..john

I'm still kicking it around. A lot depends on the weather and if I want to get my butt up in time to make your start time.
Looks like you lost the weather as an excuse, now its just buttuppage ;)

Watch that FastFar guy, John goes really fast and uhhh.....far :p

O'vale.. any recs for a good cheap hotel in Orangvale? Tossing the idea about me cranium scareabellium about riding up Friday afternoon/night, grabbing some shut eye, doing the ride and coming back home the same day. OK, I'm a wuss and want to enjoy the ride.. which I don't think I would if I did the entire ride in one day. wuss, wuss, I'm a comfortable wuss... All dependent upon the schedule of course.. sometimes being on-call ain't all what it cracked up to be..

On Nov 5, I'll have ridden to Fort Bragg up "the One" to the Glass Fire. Gotta hock some wares!

All o' you all, have a good ride!

Too bad Kjawdge.. it would have been fun to ride up there together. Have fun at your glass thingie!

Looks like I'll be one up and on the Blackbird. GF has to work Saturday (as deadlines close in on her), and I need another 300 miles on the Blackbird before registering it, so this will get me maybe 200 of that. She's cooking me dinner at her house Saturday night, and that's 60 miles round trip from my place, so I'll be close for a DMV trip with checkbook in hand next week.

Just make sure that distance doesn't get shrunk to 60 feet, or it's feet to you, in a not good way. Hey, your orders. I'm just here to comply.

Yikes!! It's like the Terminator -- once you give him orders, there's no reprogramming.

I do recall you saying something that had me laughing my ass off when I told you that -- something about foreseeing a time and a scene where I'd have trouble explaining to some bewildered woman why my riding buddies were taking turns kicking me in the balls???

Hello Andrew and the others here.

Rode into work -cold and wet at 4:00a this morning ....after a few hours at the SaltMine will be heading up into the Sierras to get some riding in. Pollock Pines tonight and tomorrow morning we'll be (will be with my buddy Barry) at Starbucks. We'll be ready to share and contribute to the fun and look forward to meeting ya 'all.

cheers, from reno (but I'll be in your crib soon!) ...john

Maybe I should bring the DRZ to mix up the bikes even more.

Nah.

Andrew, I hope you'll

2.) will forgive me for bringing the strom and not the fjr this trip .....
