So the Long Beach folks and the Seattle folks already have threads going on for the annual Progressive Bike Show, and theirs aren't until December! I thought I'd start a thread to see who's planning to go down to San Mateo and when, maybe get a group ride down there from this area. I think it's always a pretty interesting day. Ours is 11/18 thru the 20th. Who's up for a ride down on Saturday the 19th?

By the way, thanks to James1300 who posted a link here with a discount code for tickets ordered online ($4 off). Assuming it's for all shows, not just Seattle.

I want to go and may ride down early, for breakfast near the fairgrounds. Weather will determine if I go.

For me it's the same every year, and looks like I'm not alone: I want to go, but it depends on how I feel at the time and the weather. So I'm big time about not committing on a specific day and time. But I will follow the thread. Thanks for organizing.

I hope to ride in Saturday morning with a friend who just moved out from New York, weather permiting as well.

If you are able to ride in, (remember bike parking is free), as usual don't forget to stop off at our Christian Motorcyclists Association, CMA, gear check booths to let us bag up and store your riding gear for free while you enjoy the show. It's great not to have to leave your gear on the bike. We have gear checks at both sides of the building where you enter.

Even if you don't ride in we can check your jacket or personal items. And be sure to stop by our information booth inside the show and say hi. Hope to see you there and ride safe, PM. <>< :)

I'd be interested in meeting up with anyone who makes the trip down. B)
Aw, crud, another reason to be bummed about missing the show. Turns out it conflicts with a big whoop-de-doo I've gotta do on the 19th. I think this is at least the third time in the last four shows some damn thing came up. Sorry I'll miss another chance to see you, T.

If anyone is planning on making an appearance, I'll be there on Saturday to check it out with my daughter and her b/f. B)
Hey, unless it's raining dogs and cats, I'm coming Saturday after all. The other plans collapsed. Who else from these parts???

Tyler, sending a PM so we can connect on Sat.

Shoot, I was afraid that show was this coming weekend. I'm pre-paid for a class to spray lead so I'll miss it. Have a fun time and hold onto your wallet at the vendor's hall. I never seem to be able to leave that area without dropping a C note on stuff I didn't even need.

There is a group going up on Saturday. Meeting at Flames Coffee shop in San Jose on Santa Teresa Blvd off Bernal at 8:30.

We (whoever shows up) will be coming from Sacramento, so guess I'll see you there. Wear an FJR shirt or something. ;)

Assuming fair weather, I'll post sometime tomorrow about a meeting point and time for Sat. a.m.

I'll be coming from Santa Clara. Anticipated arrival around 11 a.m. I don't have an FJR shirt but I have an FJR dogtag courtesy of Bust! :D

Better not wear any shirt at all then, so we can see the dogtag.

So you'll be leaving home around 1:50 a.m.?

What about your bust? Can I get in on some of that if'n I show up?
Yeah... 1:50 a.m... right after you. :p

I'd go if it were a half hour ride for me, but it's a long way on nasty urban superslabs. Anyway, I need to spend some more time f**cking up my electrical this weekend. :D
