Mel's sounds good to me. Should be a little cheaper than the other options.
OK, you've changed my mind, Mels sounds great :)
I added "Mel's Original Diner" as the breakfast stop on Post #1 and I've updated the list of those who have PM'd or posted they are attending.

Like a few others, family functions interfere this year. However, since it is to spend time with my oldest son, returning from Afghanistan, (fingers crossed) safe and sound, I don't mind missing the MC show at all. You guys have fun, I think I've turned into a "fair weather rider" anyway. But boy will I be ready this spring, I'm retiring in April and the FJR will be ready!

I stopped by Mel's diner tonight. They have a separate section, sort of a back room, with seating for at least 16. They said just to call in 15 minutes ahead and they will set it up for us. What time should I tell them to expect us?

Rick said "Meet @ 0800."

Kickstands up @ 0815 gets us to Mel's (30 miles on I-80) and inside by 0900.

Ah, no offense to the Old Michael pics, but excuse me if I "bust" into Mike's thread as I didn't think it was really necessary to start another one just to say, once again CMA will be doing our helmet and leather check, so you don't have to leave your gear on the bike or carry any around the show.

And its free once again. I'm suppose to work on Saturday so hopefully I'll see you all there. Be safe, Del, aka, Painman. <>< :D

Note to me: Maybe carpool with OM. Except I'll drive. There are no cliffs between here and San Mateo but there is a bridge . . . . .

I'm in for the show on Sat. I've already got tickets and going with a couple guys from work. I'm sure I'll hook up with some of ya all there. I think I'll pass on Mel's after reading a few of the reviews on google :bad: :aaskull: :bad:

I wondered if you'd be in the trailer. We'll yell and wave as we pass by! :bye:
As far as I know, there will be no trailer in the parking lot this year. Suppose to have moved everything indoors to store the riding gear. Not sure of the exact setup but no worries, we'll be there to bag and tag the riding gear. Del. <>< ;)

You guys do a great job every year of stowing our gear every year Del, Thank you! B)
