Hi Brad! you are correct! We could use a little therapy ride. December is just so crazy around here, I don't know if we can get away.

SOLUTION:
A foothills ride North, lunch in Grass Valley. That way Rob & Terri can join the group for lunch.

Shoot....I might drive to Grass Valley just to see everyone...

I like it! Rob what about that burger joint you led us to that one day? I can't remember where we were but I think it was close to home for you.

How about Dec 15th, the Starbucks on Latrobe Rd just off Hwy 50 at 10:00 am for those riding north.

Michael, can you join us in the truck if nothing else?

BTW ditbwc... we have officially highjacked your thread , hopefully you can join us.

But if this norCal ride hits the ride planning pages, I'm likely in -- need to get some riding in to clear my head of a couple months of bad juju. G.D., I wish to hell it would finally snow up the hill, though!!!

I thought it was about time to make this "public knowledge" Anyone else interested? Should we make this a ride in/drive in Sacramento Valley lunch? This would be a good time for the newbie locals to "meet and greet" some of the er....uhm...."elder statesmen".

MEET TO RIDE:

Starbucks Coffee, 4313 Town Center, El Dorado Hills

Hwy 50, El Dorado Hills Blvd. South. Get into the left lane and turn left at the signal into the shopping center. 1/8th mile to L. @ stop sign, L into parking area and you will see Starbucks just to your left.

Riding by 10:00!

THE ROUTE:

Brad will be your Ride Ubermeister. I assume, from Starbucks, El Dorado Hills Blvd. North, which becomes Salmon Falls Rd. to Hwy 49.

Let's discuss options!

THE PLACE:

Ikeda's at 13500 Lincoln Way in Auburn.

Ikedas is on the frontage road just East of the Foresthill off ramp.

From Auburn, go East on I-80 to Auburn Ravine.Foresthill Rd offramp. Top of ramp turn right...into the left turn lane for Lincoln Rd. Turn left and Ikedas is about 1/2 mile on the right.

OR, go past the Foresthill off ramp and take the very next ramp. Turn right and then right on Lincoln, head uphill about 2/10ths of a mile., pass the Sizzler and Ikedas is on the left.

LUNCH @ 1130, or upon arrival.

AFTER-RIDE:

Rich will be leading a local loop through the foothills after lunch. Details in Post # 25.

PARTICIPANTS:

Bluestreek (& Cyndi)

I might have to move so I can ride with you freaks more often. once.
It's OK, you can ride with me and the PGR that day, to the San Joaquin National Cemetery in Gustine for the Wreaths Across America laying of a wreath at the site, then lunch with some real bikers in Los Banos afterward.

Bring your Harley!
I'm thinking he and Shauna will be at George's. George had him at, "B-B-Q!" :dribble: "Party?!?!" was merely a bonus. :yahoo:

Sounds like fun, but we hatched boy-child v.2 last night, so I will be on a shorter leash than usual for at least the near future.

with a little nudge here and there ...should fit in saddle bag no problem!?!
Congrat's Patrick ....and family.
Thank John. Not even a nudge required - they wrap 'em like a burrito at the hospital with their arms and legs folded. Just a bit bigger than a football, so sidecase plus a couple of air holes and a couple of holes in the bottom to let out the ooze (the things tend to exude fluids and other nastiness at an alarming rate) and I should be good to go.

Congratulations. You'll find that Pampers makes an excellent 'Ooze containment device' that comes in various sizes, however these are temporary fitments that must be replaced at frequent intervals. PS You might not want to mention putting the kid into a saddlebag, to the significant other yet. OTOH, after a few sleepless nights she will be more receptive to the idea.

Of course I work that day :angry2:

Have a great lunch.

MR. feej, Ill have a cigar in celebration of your hatchling. Well done!
