I'm due for my 600 mile service on my AE.
North Hollywood Yamaha is the closest service department.

Anyone have good/bad things to say about them?

Thanks.
I bought a Connie & a SV650 from thier Hollywood store and had some service there, I had no problems.

They had free pick-up & delivery too.

Well, my experience is currently mixed with N. Hollywood Yamaha.

Had the 600 mile service done; they said my idle was a bit off. Now the bike almost stalls when coming to a slow stop when applying the brake. Plus I've got this buzzing sound from the handlebar area when riding at slow speeds (around 30-35mph). Also I'm starting to believe the numbness some riders feel after extended rides is due to something not being completely tightened.

My numbness has gotten worse since getting the bike back. Knowing that the tank was partially removed, I'm starting to believe the buzzing sound and numbness is due to the bike not being put back together properly.

Gee, what a shocker a service department that doesn't give a crap...

That's unfortunate. I would hope you'd go back and give them one chance to fix it. It's one of the reasons I personally try to do my own work including my own TBS.

And, now that you have some personal experience with the dealer, I and others, would encourage you to write something up in the aforementioned Dealer Feedback Forum for the next rider, ....of course reviewing the guidelines for that particular forum.

Good luck.

I'm trying to get back to the dealership. I've already called them about it. It's just finding the time to drop the bike off during "normal" work hours (as well as coordinate a ride home from a friend).

:(
