North Houston ride on MLK day anyone?

Anyone up for a ride through The National forest and the Yankee loop on Monday Jan.19th?

If the weather is permitting all us "guv-ment" slackers want to go for a ride...

Not all of us will be on a Feejer, but I think we can manage not to go Postal on each other for a couple of hours

It should be a motley crew of deviantes on different makes and models... (FJR, HD, V-Star, GW, etc...)

FM 3090 is a fun road if ya' haven't done that one yet.

Yankee's Tavern has a pretty good burger for lunch too...

We could meet in the Kroger parking lot @ FM1488 and Honea-Egypt road @ say 8 or 9am???

I have been telling the guys, (and gals) at work 9am as well.

I think that would be better for some who might come from across town to go cruise through the country back roads w/ us...

Update on MLK-day ride the 19th...

We will still meet @ the Kroger @ FM 1488 & FM 2978 (Honea Egypt road) @ 9am-ish.

We will leave @ 9:30am just in case we have one or two straglers or long distance visitors join us.

We can work out the details of who will lead and who will keep the rear and middle of the group that morning.

(The leader hopefully has the FM3090 route pre-programmed in their GPS already).

(cough, cough, Hecpilot...) No pressure bro'.

Just a little cruuuuizzze with some postal deviantes and other sick freaks of nature for sure...

Had a great ride today...

Great weather, (a little windy though), good people and uncrowded twisties...

Had a turn-out of 3 Feejer's (FjrStar, Bwana & USPS-Nut), 2 Hogs, and a V-star Stratoliner.

Let's do another ride on the next "Guv-ment" holiday...
