I was stationed at Kunsan AFB 1986-1987; there is no way I would have road a bike back then. Looks like you had a great ride; I am jealous.

An unusual and welcome trip report. Thanks for the Gapyeong CF War Memorial entry; this was also the battle site where a Canadian infantry battalion, The 2nd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, was awarded a Presidential Unit Citation for their actions during the Battle of Kapyong in Korea holding their ground during a massive Chinese assault. The other units to receive one during that action was the Australian 3rd Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment and "A" Company of the 72nd Heavy Tank Battalion, United States Army.

Is it just me or does south korea look a lot like west virginia? I know smaller cars and shorter people. I"m jealous looks like you and the SO had a great time.
