Whittier to Valdez by ferry in the smoke yesterday, Valdez to Beaver Creek YT via Tok AK. Tomorrow Beaver Creek to Haines AK and hopefully the opportunity to post some updates.

After observing the 4th of July in Haines AK we journeyed to Skagway AK via a brand new Ferry, Skagway ( with four cruise ships in port ) quite crowded, we didn't dally.

A good 8 hour run to Nugget City, the junction of the ALCAN and Cassiar Highways for the evening, arrived just at sunset, 2200 (10:00 PM).

Departed Nugget City at a bit before 0800 this morning and had a great run down the beautiful Cassiar Highway arriving at Stewart BC about 1600. Spent an hour rebuilding the slave cylinder on Festar's bike for the second time, not leaking at the moment XXX fingers crossed. At this point Fred, Brian and I can do a Clutch fill and Bleed like a NASCAR Pit Crew!

Tomorrow a 400 mile run to Prince George BC.

Suck Ass Internet again tonight in Prince George, heading for Lake Country BC tomorrow.

I guess we need to up our accommodation budget!

Ride locally in Lake Country vicinity Monday,

Eureka MT Tuesday and Wednesday,

The Outpost on Thursday, maintenance on Friday, home on Sunday.

6,600 miles so far.

Not sure why the GPS mileage and the Bike Mileage differ by 100 miles?
