Northern Cali Weekend Rides

EDIT: Oops, this route turns to dirt jsut past he town of Washington...Washington Road is a GREAT road, and the town is really cool and worth seeing, but we had to U-turn as we didn't want to test the dual sportability of the FJR.

Howdy, we are planning a ride on Sunday October 9th starting from Sacramento area and going up to the Auburn area and from there, we will take

I-80 to Colfax where we will take

174 to Grass Valley.

49 to 20 East to Washington Road.

Washington Road turns into Gaston Road

Meadow Lake Road (take right)

Graniteville Road (veer Left)

becomes Henness Pass Road

89 (Left)

89 to 49

49 toward Nevada City via Downieville, North SanJuan etc.

Marysville Road (Right)

Left on 20 to Grass Valley

49 to Auburn, then back to Sacramento area.

This is a long and twisty ride and we'll be taking multiple breaks for eats, drinks and picture taking.

The Aspen and fern are changing color now and it should be a gorgeous ride!
