It was great to be able to sit in the back and follow along. I'm usually so wrapped up in making sure that we are still on the route that I don't get to sight see nearly as much as yesterday. Here are a few from us:

Porstmouth Naval Prison

Looks like you guys had a great ride...we were going to try to make this one, but life got in the way. One of these days

Willie

Thanks Willie.

Wow, so when you got thrown in the brig you got a room with that view? What a deal.

No wonder they closed it down. ;)

All I can say is WOW!

From the wonderfully paved goat trails

The most scenic ride I have ever taken

A perfect day

Great food

Great People

This Day had it all, guys really thanks from the both of us!

It was a long 12 hour day in the saddle but seemed timeless until it was time to head home. From Church services in the park to confused pedestrians in Portsmouth.

“Yes we are the local pirates. My name is Scuba Steve and this is the FJR Justice league and yes the bikes float.”

To the roving Scooter gangs in Rye. I could not think of a better way to spend a Sunday other than getting up way to early and ride with my fellow NERDS.

Sandi and I did blast down 101 to the waiting crock pot at home. I wasn’t even remotely hungry until I got a whiff of what was cooking in there. 2 bowls and some garlic bread latter I was out like a light.

We flew past what looked like the remnants of a tribe run moving 5 under the speed limit other than a truck with a bike in the back blowing by me at over 100mph (saw him coming and yielded my 80ish MPH over to the right) We detoured at ext 2 and made a nice little run around the lake. Made it home just as it was getting dark.

Great seeing you all again and meeting Chris for the 1st time.

As the sand starts running down on a great riding season my first season in over 20 years. Every ride seems more URGNT

Thanks for sharing your routes, your time and your camaraderie and see you on the next ride!

Do not worry, grasshopper Tony.

We have many more rides in store for you before the dreaded yellow plow trucks spread the sodium pestilence upon our roads.

Get your warm winter gear now and become less URGNT (nice plate by the way) .

Just don your cape and cap and keep the Dark Knight at bay...

-Fred
