I know I don't ride an FJR so completing my 9th individual BBG and 14th overall won't mean much to all of you hot shot FJR riders but I did just that last Saturday.

It was 1530 miles in 20 hours with 11 gas stops ( including the start and end ) to prove the corners of the route.

Here is a link to the ride information.

Florida In State BBG

I am sure I have a long ways to go to catch up to all of you. :D

Congratulations. Funny, I've been an IBR member for a decade now, but only have three certs hanging on the wall. Course I have rally t-shirts coming out my ears :)

When you gonna do your second BBG x 3????

See you @ the IBR.

You get to have some extra motorcycle fun on your commute to the start and finish. I had to ride 2,500 miles to get home from the IB5K, while you got off easy on that one!

I have only been in one IBR so far. I do have a spot for 2011 along with a spot in the cape fear and hope to get a couple more flags to hang. I have only run about 5 serious rally's 2 cape fear ( 7th and 4th place ), MTF rally ( DNF ), IB5000 ( 9th ) and the 2009 IBR ( 37th ). I really like riding the hard core miles more than the rally's and I use rally's to improve my ride documentation skills.

I am sure if I had an FJR I would have a lot more flags.

Doug,

I am really hoping to attempt the trifecta before the IBR but work, wife and money are really getting in the way. I have my route ready and witnesses signed up but.....

Yea, I have to ride 3300 miles to the start of the IBR. I hope I can get out early enough to get some rest before the rally start.

It means a lot to me. Greg, you da man!! Go kick some *** in the 11 IBR!!

+1..... except my *** Greg! Looking forward to once again trying just to keep up with you! I still have nightmares of the sonic wave you left behind when you passed me on I10 West Texas last year.... I now have a little note on my dash that says .... "Pull over for big blue whales approaching in rear view mirror!" See you in Wilmington in April.

Congrats on another BBG! You are an inspiration to me to finally ride a BBG this year....I have not yet achieved the 1500 in 24.

Me neither. Came close once. 1,450 in the last 24 hours of Buttlite IIII. I might have done it if it wasn't for those pesky bonus stops. I just wish I could have kept all the points.

Greg's total is very impressive. It's not for me. Miles aren't the only measure of a big day.

I've got first dibs on the FJ right? ;)
