They have been known to do that around here to farmers in the fields, construction workers, and boats on the reservoir (me). A wierd feeling when you realize that 30mm is aimed at you in the HUD.
I used to race sailboats out from under Martin Airport in Maryland, home to the 175th Wing of the Air National Guard, a competition winning collection of A-10 pilots. It was always fantastic to watch them come in in sequence after a day of training. The A-10 is a really cool bird. I am very sure I wouldn't want that cannon pointed at me, though. It's bad enough getting muzzle-swept at the range, really don't need that times a million...
