Bought Canyon Cages and the OES Frame sliders hoping to combine them this week.

Canyon Cages went on fine but to make the OES sliders it turned into a nightmare.

Needed longer, metric, fine threads bolt and all the suppliers laughed. No way. Soooooooo the frame sliders are for sale.

$40.00 USD and shipping to be discussed. Items are in Ontario Canada.

Want pics? No problem but send a message to my email:

Sorry, I can't figure out exactly what you're saying. These are Yamaha parts? And you "needed longer, metric, fine threads bolt?" Wasn't everything included? And why did all the suppliers laugh? Can you identify just what you have, like a link or Yamaha part number? Could be interested, but just a little confused. Thanks.

The frame sliders likely supplied by OES assume that you are bolting them directly in place of the forward motor mounting bolts. But attaching them further outboard atop a set of previously installed canyon cages requires even longer bolts, and bolts of the correct size are very uncommon and so are difficult to source. You may find them in some catalogs, but nobody seems to stock them.

Garauld (on this forum) offers a slider kit for canyon cages. But the bolts he was able to find are not stainless. Those were simply unobtanium in that length in fine thread.
