I thought I read somewhere that the '06 will have a heated one while the '05 does not.

Stupid question-

What's the significance of heated v. unheated?

 
IIRC Heated reads faster so startup emissions are lessened. There may be some increase in cat con longevity as well.

Brings the O2 sensor up to operating temp. quickly and allows closed loop emissions control early. A heated O2 sensor is usually ready to work in less than 60 seconds. Engines are at their dirtiest emissions when cold and this will help reduce emissions before the engine is fully warmed up. Can you believe it isn't heated to improve performance :lol:

thanks guys. guess I should tell my wife to stop [accelerate] her breathing through the mask connected to the pipes when I first start'r up. :ph34r:
