One thing's for sure.

They put the 'fun' in dysfunctional.

They're both greedy idiots who are lousy businessmen, if ya ask me.

Having watched the show a few times I was always impressed by what a complete ***** Senior is.

Junior is apparently also a big dope. OCC's popularity has faded. Just take your Dad's money for the buy out and run.

The problem is the buyout was initially valued at $0. That kinda pissed him off, I think.

I don't think he'd mind selling at all. It's the gifting that bothers him.

I have been unable to watch OCC and some of the other similar car programs. I had hoped that the strife oriented businesses and workplaces were just made for TV and didn't reflect daily operations. If what I was seeing was the actual way they ran their businesses they should have hired a real business manager, shut up and focused on their job skills. As a manager I can absolutely guarantee that I would never tolerate or allow any of their business or manufacturing practices to have continued as depicted on TV. I still hope that the lawsuit is more shameless self promotion by a couple of guys who's 30 seconds of fame has gone on way too long. If the lawsuit isn't just to keep them on camera and in the public's eye and really reflects their shops and their personal relationship then they deserve each other and may the best lawyer win.

They deserve whatever the lawyers leave them after they are done arguing. Sure glad that the Sr. A$$hole isn't my dad.

From what I've seen of their expo products, likely paid for by the Discovery Channel and foisted upon ungrateful receipents for the TV value and publicity I'd say the valuation was generous.

Jr.is lucky not to find himself ponying up for past due building rent.

A number of years ago, when the show was new, I was at an airshow in Northwestern NJ where the FD was auctionong off an OCC production bike. It was a limited auction, 300 chances at $100. I was actually going to buy a chance and went over to look at the bike. It was a POS, bad paint, bad metal work, weld joints that my daughter could have done a better job on. Didn't bother wasting the #100. But, it was then that I was sure that the whole thing was about the celebrity status and the show. No Business could make a living putting out products that shoddy. Nor could you maintain an employee base in that kind of environment. It's a made for TV reality show, just about as genuine as Bridezilla.
