Lately my tripmeter and clock reset after my 2004 fjr ABS has been turned off. I read a post for ST's that said the fuse might be bad. could this be the case for an fjr ? odometer is fine and all other electronics fine.

Also I noticing low gas milage. used to get mid forties; now getting around 30 mpg. 23,450 miles. Usually baby machine, so dont understand change. new tires about month ago. Ready for 24K service before Biketoberfest.

Thanks.

Discussed recently three threads below yours. Seasonal gas change. Discuss over there please unless you think it's not at all this issue.

Maybe the battery is going south. It's common for batteries to go TU this time of season....when it goes from warm most of the time to relatively cold all of a sudden. Sears does serious battery business this time of year.

Gremlins sneaking around at night resetting tripmeters & clocks? Does your avg MPG reset as well? If so, likely the battery.
