Oem parts

Question. If I order a yammy genuine oem body part thats part of my cowling will it come painted to match or can i order them that way?

Colour matched, Partshark was the cheapest.

The OEM body panels ordered with Yamaha P/N should come painted; an example from the Yamaha Parts page:

3P6-28351-00-P2 BODY, COWLING | Use for Color Deep Purplish Blue Metallic U ( DPBMU / 996 )

I think I read someplace that the older models no longer come painted but I sure don't know that for a fact.

thanks yea I had a piece fly off today on way to work at a higher cough cough than normal rate of speed. yammy calls it a visor idky , anyways gonna order new one tonight. Anyone else had these parts fly off your bikes randomly at speed?

Nope, mine fall off randomly at the abrupt absence of speed.

I've read about a few of them flying away. It's usually because one of the two "Clip Hinges" weren't snapped in correctly. (It's easy to do) but, for an '06 it will be painted your color. All you have to do is pay for it.
