As many of my fellow PNW riders know, the community of Eugene, Oregon lost a fine policeman in the line of duty last month. This policeman happened to do his job on two wheels. Chris leaves behind his wonderful wife and two daughters; one of which is just 4 years old. The malicious acts of one evil woman took the life of a father, husband, son, brother, colleague, and friend. That friend happened to be one of mine.
So a ride from the Beemer shop in Eugene to Sisters was organized in his honor. The ride distance in miles totals Chris' badge number: 248. The date is scheduled for June 25. All participants including passengers who pay the entrance fee will receive a commemorative pin for the event. The fee is just $35 and $10 for passengers. ALL the money collected will go to the Kilcullen family.
