Well. those two were high on my list at the moment, but lets not forget the other stuff that I mentioned About opportunity to do thing that I was not able to do at my prior place. I have been doing this particular job for over 5 years and there are still too many things to learn. So, at the moment any place that gives me ability to learn and do something that I haven't done before while paying me the money I ask gets my attention. These are probably some of the least significant matters when considering your career development and job satisfaction. The only thing that I like in this company is it is a mile from my house and it paid what I asked.
As far as carrier goes. I think I am young enough, 37, to be focusing on management track now. So, as long as I grow technically I will grow.
I did look at the company history, I did talk to some people on the inside in different departments. What else would you recommend I do in the future?
Tenchi, this guy is not the highest in the food chain, but I am just not sure if it will do anything. Generally people do not tolerate well when you complain about them to the higher management. maybe it is just me not wanting further political escalation. Management tells you that you will not be prosecuted for speaking up, but do they really mean it? I haven't seen the evidence of that.
