Sorry for the brief first post of the thread, but I'd really like to keep it as uncluttered and with as few changes as possible!

I know this ride isn't optimally timed given the NERDS and EOM gatherings so close in proximity, but.... whatcha gonna do  ! Consider it either a shake down run to get prepped for EOM or a consolation prize for missing out on the NERDS if you can't make that! Heck even better, think of it as a way to keep loose between having attended the NERDS ride and a stop along the way to keep your mad skills up on the way to EOM!

I'll be using the subsequent posts to gather information and shoot the sheep, oops, I meant ****(Sorry, Barry). The basic layout of the three days is solid, just working on finalizing routes, lodging.

Looking forward to hearing from you! Well, most of you! :p

Unfortunately, I have to miss this one. Daughter is gertting married in Newfoundland on Sept.15. I'll have to settle for NERDs this year.

No soup for me.

One of these years I'm going to join you fine folk for chowda. So far it has been on a weekend where I already have other plans. Maybe next time.

First of all, congrats!! :)

I would never consider the NERDS ride as settling for anything.... Fred and the gang put on one hell of a good riding time! You won't be disappointed, for sure!

I mis-spoke! I did NERDs last year and had a great time, despite some mechanical difficulties. I should have said "settle for only NERDs" as opposed to doing both excellent trips.

Due to lack of interest and a whole host of other ****, I am officially canceling putting this ride together. Lots of factors going into it, but I don't need to bore anyone with the details. Just know that it won't be happening...... this year, anyway.

Hope everyone has a safe trip to EOM for those leaving early to take the stop and smell the roses kind of route down. Looking forward to the feedback from NERDS!

VanHarlan, PM sent.

Just wasn't in the cards this year. I thank you trying to get this going and maybe it will happen next year. Who knows maybe NERDS will be in Maine next year. Doesn't look like I will make EOM either.

Thanks again CJ.

Dave

Thanks, Dave. I figured the timing was gonna suck, I just didn't know it'd be that bad! It sucks you can't make EOM. This year will be only my second one, so looking forward to it.

Yeah, depending on how my weekend work schedule rolls, will be curious to see if I can make this happen next year. If I can, I'll be targeting the weekend before Memorial Day.

We need to get the southern New England folks in on some breakfast rides. As it stands, Pepperel and I have been the most southern folks who have attended the past few RTE's. We've all been slacking this year! Hopefully, this will improve. We still have a lot of good riding time, especially with fall coming!

take it easy!
