We've had 114 PAID folks in less than 5 days. So, I wouldn't say you haven't been remiss in checking threads. There is great demand for so many people to pony up money so early......and that's VERY helpful for organizers in budgeting and planning for the event. We have 150 rooms secured and you're in well under at number #113 and #114...and provided not every paid person is going to get a room.

Watch for the next batch of e-mails from Warchild.

I am just curious how the count compares to last year. I know people sort of trickled in right up to the last moment, but I was wondering what the totals were for last year. Thanks again for all the work!

Also, could you update my location on the map? I am in Lompoc, CA now... not MT. PM me if you need more details. Now I am going to make sure I didn't forget to update that somewhere!

I'm not sure how quickly folks ponied up last year, but the rooms ran out in February, IIRC - we did have the luxury of adding more, though. In terms of numbers right now, I think we are pretty close to matching (assumed, based on trend) room count and are 40 or so away from actual attendance as compared to last year.

Thanks for the reply Iggy :)

Just curious, I'm on the Forum members' map but not on the offical WFO website map. Any other registered participants not on the map?
1) No relation to the forum member map whatsoever to the WFO map.

2) Many registered and/or paid people are not on the map. Low priority thing and will be addressed later.

THIS WILL BE OUR 6TH OF 6 WFOs WE'VE ATTENDED SO FAR. Who else can claim these stats, besides Sharp in WA, for the most WFOs events attended? :fans: :fans: :fans:
The list is getting rather short. We were discussing this topic in Reno and I think it may be Sharp, Warchild, Hmarc, ocfjr and you two. There may be another 1 or 2. (The Rogdebs were in England when Skagit was held).
I'm sure warchild was not at the first 2 WFOs. I do remember HMarc.

Thanks for the info TWN!

Another rather large batch of confirmed PayPal transactions were sent their room codes tonight.

This did NOT include most paying on the 27th, and all who paid on Sunday, Jan 28. If you paid during this time frame, no worries, you'll recieve your email before COB tomorrow (Monday, Jan 29).

There are a handful on instances where a few WFO Players have anted up their rally fee, but still might not have received their room codes yet. This is due to you using someone else's PayPal account (a spouse, a friend, etc) , and we can't match up the email used for the PayPal transaction to the actual attendee. Or, you used a different email address for PayPal than you did for WFO registration, and we haven't reconciled the names yet.

Got it.

You rock.

I'm booked.

Thanks.

Pig.

Edit: Can't think of a better way to make my 500th post! :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Ponied up for the room tonight. thanks WC and Iggie for working so hard. My Dad's name is also Ignacio, Iggie for short. I missed Skagit, but have attended all the rest, Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, Moscow, and Reno.

No problem. Ignacio/Iggie is my online moniker from a freak essay test in high school, and always entertaining when folks figure out I'm Wonderbread and not Latino, pero hablo espanol a la troca de tacos.

See you in Utah.....which is a thoroughly interesting place to live when you're not LDS.

Or you ****** up like I did and typoed your email address.

Ok, I have SEVEN rides planned for around Park City. Including a run down to Vegas just for giggles. Now if I was just staying a WEEK instead of a couple days.... Pretty cool the MicroSoft Streets and Trips are showing some of the roads I might ride as seasonally closed. For me, that means at the end of July they should be SPECTACULAR!!!

"BIG THANKS" Dale :) . Room code received and room reserved. :yahoo:

Just sent an e-mail out to about a dozen folks where they've registered on the website, but either I wasn't able to reconcile with a PayPal payment, payment was not received, or they have not yet tried to pay. We should be caught up!
