I'm in .... finally.. WHEW! 1492 miles to Park City from mi casa. COOL! Now to figure out the indirect route. Thinking maybe BANFF. That's on the way, isn't it? :yahoo:

FJRocket

Yes, Banff is perfectly sited on your route map. I spent years skiing and riding in the Rockies, Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, Golden, etc and it is incredible. Try really hard to hike into Lake O'Hara, just west of Lake Louise. Have fun!

Important Note About Hotel Codes

Warchild and I just met and besides being stunned at the incredible response by folks....figured out what we have to do to send registration codes out. He's going to work on some web code this afternoon and I'll have to do a little bit of a manual process matching up PayPal account records this evening.

We're hopeful that the first batch of codes will be out this evening some time.

He's also working on fixing the website up to properly deal with folks that ask for extra shirts. We will very likely have to go back manually and work with the few folks that already ordered extra shirts already.

So, you first wave of folks that have PayPal'ed or will PayPal by early evening should be getting hotel registration codes and instructions this evening.

....now I gotta go back to work. Dang job gettin' in the way of FJRs....... ;)

Sylvia and Dave are registered and paid - woo-hoo! At 1,066 miles it's another natural SS1K, but Sylvia prefers the days a little shorter and more time for pictures (and I've already got the licence plate holder). Can't wait to see a bunch of old (and new) friends in Utah.

As of now at 1000 the Registration form doesn't want to come up. Is this pay back for me living near the city that brought you all KFred in good old Kalifornia?

As of 10:07 am PST, it just rendered fine for me....

The Flash form does take an extra few seconds to render, particularly on older machines, so try it again and let the page set for a minute or so, it should render.

If you still have problems, try it again a little later... tons of folks are hitting the site this morning.

Might want to also ensure you have the latest Flash Player installed, as older versions are definitely obsolete; the newer Flash Player is blazing fast in comparison:

Well, I gotta tells ya, I'm amazed by the response! My email account just took a ******* from the massive amount of registration copies I've been getting!

I'm thrilled beyond words! Good work, peeps! :yes2:

Okay....exactly what were you expecting there TDub?.... ....
At this rate, we'll be sold out by the end of this week! That's nuts! I was hoping for a sell-out, but knowing you guys, not until 7/25!
Okay then....SUPRISE!....hope that helps  .....(now what about the room reservation thing?)

Ok, registration filled out, payment sent, awaiting hotel code (yeah, yeah, I know... I'll wait). Guess I need to go figure out the most indirect way to get there... probably make a swing through Colorado like last time... wonder if I can get a stay at the Gasman hotel again... that was fun last time! Definitely staying on asphalt the ENTIRE trip this time...

Patience my ***! I wanna spend money on hoe-tels!

Ya know, I sure hope those hotel folks at the front desk and/or reservation department have an idea what's coming their way when the res codes go out - Don't be surprised if you all get a busy signal when you try.

Iggy, don't suppose you're planning on staggering the emails based upon sequence of received payments? Or some such thing? It might be nicer for the hotel folks... just a suggestion....

All is well. Registration completed. Older riders and older machines both taka a few extra minutes.

will come via Canada to lose the Kalifornia curse.

Well, guess what? You don't have to use such ancient technology as the telephone. You'll be able to use the on-line registration and enter your code into the group rate code box. Ain't it grand?!

And, for all you frequent Marriott travelers, your Marriott RewardsSM numbers will also be accepted.

Sold out? Dang, I have two buddies with '05s that won't know if they can make it for their first WFO until next month sometime. I guess I missed the info where this is capped. How many can register before it's cut off? Or are we just talking hotel here...
