Dang it Mike. That sucks that you won't be there, but I totally understand. You might want to do a no tornadoe dance while you are at it. Texas and Oklahoma are getting hammered this year. Arkansas has been getting some bad storms. Hope we see you next year. Thanks for setting everything up.

Well Mike, we're gonna miss ya bud. Enjoy your time with the kids. I want to echo what GP said, thanks for putting things together for this year's SFO. Hopefully we'll see ya at another meet later in the year. If not, we'll see ya at SFO '14.

Since my FJR is in the shop, I intend to haul a non-tourer. The upside to that; I'll be carrying tools, air tank, etc.

AND I can probably haul a medium size cooler if it would prove beneficial. Just let me know.

FYI - If you are still considering attending and don't have a room reserved you might want to call and get your name on the waiting list asap, as The Hub is full according to Debbie.

I just called her to release the room I had reserved because Pegsparks and I are going to bunk with Old Pilot in the three double bed room that Mike had reserved. Debbie thanked me for calling because she said that would free up a room for someone on the waiting list, as they are full.

We're down to 1 week, 23 hours to launch!

Y'all have FUN !!! No way I can make my first FJR rally with a broken foot with 3 weeks left in this damn boot...When any of Y'all come thru Ore City, Texas on the way up 259 just think about me........Ed

That's a good question. Not all have posted that will be there I think. Hope we have at least 20.

Mike, unfortunately my businesses are not performing right now and need personal attention. That's a shame as I have just not had enough time in the saddle. So, I'll have to catch you guys next year or at events in the future. I am still planning of make it to Salida, CO in June, but that may change as well.

Take care and Gear up!

Doug

Mike and I will be attending SFO on Friday and Saturday . And you cant stop us.

Rob

Yea, I am bailing on this one too! Just have too much to get done and not enough time to do it. Can't break away!

Will catch you guys and gals on the flip-flop...

Take care and always gear up!

I will check in with Debbie and post an approximate number of attendees based on reservations made.

Also I will mention my request, like last year, to have a big table set up in the "game room" for anyone who wishes to eat dinner privately as a group. Be sure to give the "world famous" prime rib a try as it's just amazingly good at a smoking price.

ya'll ride safe,

Mike

I just got off the phone with Debbie and she confirms 13 rooms reserved with approx 20 attending from our group.

As an aside, my decision to opt out is definitely meant to be.

My dear friend & fellow PGR Ride Captain, Brian Blanchard passed in his sleep on Memorial Day. I am coordinating the PGR's participation in his funeral this Saturday.

Plus a local soldier of the Louisiana Army National Guard was killed by an RPG Sunday in Afghanistan and I'm coordinating for his upcoming final journey. I was the coordinator at his and his unit's departure ceremony in February and shook all 115 soldiers' hands as they boarded the plane for their deployment.

Needless to say, I have a difficult 10 days ahead.

Ride safe and I continue to pray for good weather in Marble Falls,

Mike

Cancelled this morning, Wundergound showed Thunderstorms all along the route for me coming in on Thursday and then also on Sunday. 1400 miles of snotty weather is not for me, I'd be all over it if I were closer.

Since I already have the time off I'm going to head to the Blue Ridge Mountains instead.
