Sorry you're not going to make it saltcreep. I understand the rain thing. We had great weather last year. Looks like we will be riding with rainsuits on every day this time.

Mike, very sorry to hear about the latest news for you. Thanks for what you do.

It all depends on what time I wake tomorrow and what route I take. Probably middle afternoonish.

WhAt time you plan on showing up tomorrow Fred? GP

Well folks. I hate it that I'll have to miss one this close to home, but I'm leaving June 7th on my first week-long trip of the summer, and I have next weekend too full to leave.

A sad and cautionary note:

We had a rider killed a couple of weeks ago at our annual Eureka Springs ZRX rally. A young rider not familiar with the area attempted a bad pass and paid dearly.

Some of you will not be familiar with our roads. if you attempt a quick pass, please scan the road ahead for three seconds or so before going. These roads dip and rise and can give the illusion that the oncoming lane is clear, but a small car can hide for a second or two in some of the dips. A quick glance is not enough.

Enjoy our roads, but please be safe!

Thanks for posting...

I've been across that bridge, but forget what road that is on?
Ha. I just follow the pack. FJRMGM led that ride and knows the territory.

Been there, too.

How was the pie?

And how did you get there? Up 103 or 215. 215 is pretty. 103 is knarley

We came in from the south, so I guess we came on 103...while rainin' pretty good last October. We definitely did NOT come in on the gravel road over the hill from the east. :D

It as a little over 300 miles for the day and we didn't have to push it hard and saw some great scenery, turkeys, deer but dang the luck, no elk.

Yep. That's 103. 215 from the west is pretty. We typically go up 103, stop at Oark for lunch, they take 215 west to the Pigtrail.
