I saw one at Kissimmee Powersports when I was buying my SV-650. It looks like a '70s rendition of a year-2000 bike, ya know what I mean? It's like the original Suzuki Katana guy had Alzheimer's.

My brother sat one in the fan area during the AMA weekend at Barber in 2009, told me if I photographed it he'd throw my camera onto the track during a race. He wanted to be able to say in an informed manner how bad it sucked rather than assuming it sucked, and he does say so every chance he gets.

I took his informed word on it, and didn't bother trying it on.

But hey, a free Ruckus?!?!??! Maybe get it, throw it in the bay, call the insurance company, and keep the Ruckus.

No, they'd know it was fraud: who the **** would steal one??!?!?!?

Now that's a bike I could get on board with. I've always loved the look of that thing.

On a complete non sequitor, I have Tamiya's 1/6th scale kit of it waiting its turn for being built. Right after five 1/20th F1 kits in progress, and seven 1/12th F1 kits, three more 1/12th bikes. To go along with the eight 1/20th and ten 1/12th F1 cars I've already done, and the two 1/12th bikes.

You need a hobby.

I think the DN-01 is easily as cool as the Rune and the Fury. Honda really has it going on these days (tongue in cheek).

Um . . . . yes. Had I photographed the event it would have been posted! (I would have surreptitiously removed the memory card before he grabbed the camera to toss it over the fence.)

I need time for a hobby!

Walter,

Just joshing ya, may 2011 give you some more time....All the Best!
I know. And I still have the image in my brain, as well as still having the camera. Maybe I could get a police artist to sketch it out for me and post that!

Oooh! One o' them chalk artists that works in the park somewhere, or at a crafts fair. (Not that I know what a crafts fair is, really. There was this girl about 30 years ago, I thought would be worth the effort. . . . . Hmm. Now that I think about it, that's about the time I took up Formula One models!)
