Ok, I'm all in for the GenI rear shock.

I like the rear shock is self-install concept. Awesome!!!

Do I have to watch or can it just call me when it's done? That way I don't have to sit in the 45 deg. garage.

;) That would be YOURself not ITself.

Got my forks sent off today, I was shocked at shipping cost from Canada - $40!

Ended up shipping in triangular UPS boxes, turns out you can't get 5" ABS pipe. Good idea, but no go joe.

I'm all in. Beat the deadline, too.

Left a message with the fine folks at Cogent Dynamics on Wednesday afternoon and got a call back this morning. Working on a holiday. Talk about customer service!

For those of you who haven't yet made up your mind, the clock is ticking.......

FINAL BUMP !!!

Deadline rapidly approaching. You MUST have the Group Buy Code, call Cogent and give them your credit card info for a $100 security deposit BEFORE Dec. 1st.

If you need the Group Buy Code(s), send me a PM.

HA

I was talking with Joyce the other day. My forks are there and apparently Rick has started in on doing the work for the group buy. I should have my parts back here before Xmas. Now I have to wait about 5mo before I can try them out (and my new Russell Seat!). This sucks.

Perfect...

Seriously....

Latest word from Rick/Cogent is that "all the forks that were sent in with the first group are done".

Here's a pic of some of the cartridges readied before installation. Looks like Santa needs room in his bag for some forks! :D

My forks arrived yesterday, some how, the post office managed to seperate the shock (they were shipped in seperate packages) and, although the notice arrived to pick it up at the post office, it isn't actually their yet (Oh what fun it is to go to the post office in the largest mall in this town on Christmas Eve). They don't reopen until Wed. But my forks are here!

Santa DOES exist, even if he drives a FedEx truck!

Forks and shock arrived today. Now if he would just do something about the snow and freezing rain........

Santa is an *******. He finally delivered late and the that ****, he charged me for my 'gifts'.

Oh well, at least I got what I wanted plus a pair of Sidi rain Strada's.

So, the bike will has a full Ohlin's suspension, a new Russell Day Long, a fresh PR2 BSpec and front, some new grips and grip heaters for the first ride of the season in... 4 months?

My liver should be dead by then.

PS: Much thanks for putting the group buy together Jeff, you owe me a beer for talking me into spending WAY to much money!

.... naw, I think were even :)
