Time to upgrade from stock shock on my 2007 FJR. I am on a budget and The ohlins S46DR1 fits what I can spend. Is it an improvement over stock? If so how much? Thanks for the input folks.................Skip

Searching for Dry Roads
Pretty basic shock, rebuildable but paying for the Ohlins name. Better (?) than stock replacement but still lacking adjustability. For a few $$$ more also consider Penske 8975 or offerings from Hagon, Hyperpro, etc.
If you were satisfied with the stock performance, a new GEN III replacement is a good option at very competitive pricing.

Back on my 2003 I bought a 46 with remote through a group buy on this Forum.
Great shock, rebuildable and loved being able to change the preload while rolling. Way better than stock.
I put about 100,000 kms on mine and think I had it refreshed twice.
