$11,800 OTD in June, eBay buy. They set the reserve at that level on the next bike they posted, leading me to believe I got a decent price. $11,500 6+ months later still seems like a decent deal.

I paid $11,800 in Jan. of 2007 out the door. Still required an additional 3% for licensing. I thing the best deals when talking about a 1-2 year old bike are to buy new which includes a sensational 1 year warranty. That reminds me I have 7 days left on my warranty. Anything I need to look for guys. Help!!!!!

Ok, enough with the prices... haha

Think next time I won't buy my bike in Denver but somewhere else. Anyone else have problems with dealers here in Denver having high prices?

I paid more for my 07... yeah it sucks knowing others got a better deal. I probably could've picked mine up from D&H the next time I drove to visit family in the South... but that would've been in May or June and all the 07's would've been gone.

I tell myself that cuz I hardly every buy vehicles from a dealer that I gotta pay my dues sometime.... and I tell myself it's no biggie cuz it's done and now I have something to ride (when it gets warmer...).

Yea Eagle, It happens all the time. Not many businesses want to walk that gross profit away if they can help it. They don't understand why other dealers are so willing to do so. It definitely costs a lot of money to keep a store profitable. I just bought a 2007 here. I sat down and showed the sales man what was out there price wise and we determined what it would cost me to get here plus taxes and I was able to get the same deal as most are referring to. It's a double edged sword. We buy these Japenese bikes down dirt cheap on front side, and pay for it in big depreciation on the resale side. It's hard to have both. I got my last bike from a broker in Ohio, but I think it will be nice to have a relationship with a local dealer. That's my .02 cents.

Ken.

I bought the first one to hit town last year (early March) I'd been waiting two years to pull the trigger, having solved the minor problems they had when they first came out, and the Black Cherry finished the deal. I would have paid a premium for it then and would again. Why snivel over a little money when there riding to be done.
