Having purchased my ES last November after searching all over the internet (not with dual-up) and continually watching prices when others ask this very question, I can tell you $15,200 is a low and reasonable price including all fees but not including sales tax, since that varies by locality.

If you want the additional 4 year Y.E.S., you can buy it anywhere and a good price is $400. As stated above, D&H in Alabama sells it for $398.

Btw, the prices I listed are what I actually paid and are not hypothetical. That said, the '14ES is getting a little difficult to find since they sold well and the'15 should be announced soon!

Thank you sir, that is just what I was needing.....

I paid $15,200 here in Cincinnati for my 0 miles, fresh from the box 2014 FJR1300ES. I bought local even though I had a price nearly 800 cheaper up in Wisconsin. Because they were local, I could trade in a old little Honda Rebel I had which then also saved me a few more bucks (another grand, so my end price was actually 14,200 plus tax plus an addon YES).

That price included ALL fee's (100 doc and 200 prep) and then had to pay another 900 in tax. I got a 4 year YES for 600 bucks extra as well. I thought that was a good deal based on what others dealers had the warranties priced at (around 800 bucks for 48 months at some places). Wish I had known that D&H had Y.E.S.'s so much cheaper. I thought the dealer cost on the 48 month YES was around 575 bucks. Guess I was wrong.

Oh well, I am still very happy with the deal I worked out and again, I didn't have to fly/drive out to Wisconsin or Tennessee or anywhere else. Instead I did the deal during my work lunch break last Tuesday! That was worth a few hundred easy!

A fly and drive can be fun, especially if the weather co-operates. U get to bond on your way home with your new bike. Cool feeling :)

So my preference would be a D&H (Cullman, AL) fly-in, and then add-in their $398 YES Warranty.
