Yea, I know for the extreme northerners who enjoy feet of powder, we get the non-stick-to-the ground-snow.....

All right, I admit it. It was me. Sorry, I got lost I was supposed to send it to Hell :D

Someone I know lives in TX, and he said that everyone freaks out on the road when it starts snowing. Did you make it through OK?

The world is turning upside down! Or sumpthin.. It was nearly 70 degrees in Boston yesterday, and we've got guys out at White Sands Missle Range just outside El Paso, TX freezing their butts off.

Maybe my riding season will be a little longer this year. I did ride 4 of the 5 days this week. Not bad for December in these parts.

At work still, so not had to brave it....although now the sun is shining and all is melting away!

I have a question....

We only received a dusting yesterday in Austin, but the news stations were leading up to that with their end of the world forecasts, just to get people to tune in. The coverage included the standard "long lines at the grocery store" story.

My question is why do people always rush to the store to buy toiler paper in these times? Are they going to wipe their butts until the calamity is no more? Did the last roll in the house happen to coincide with the massive storm blowing in? I don't get it....

We just had that artic air and snow here in Denver the last few days. Tonight we get round two with a few more inches. I am wishing for summer all ready!!

Ha Ha, I love it when places like Texas get snow. Too bad it didn't stick....it's comical watching southerners try to drive in the stuff.

Hey jm I think the thought of snow just scares the shit outa folks  They do it up here too, but only when they predict a foot or more..

:jester:

Hey, I was born and raised where you live, and the first snow up there is always funny as well, as the natives seem to forget how to drive over the course of the 6, 5, 4, 3 month spring/summer/fall season.

:p

It takes a couple of snows for some people. More often than not, it's a case of people being too cautious, that are holding things up.

We usally have about 5 months of winter to perfect our sliding..........uh, I mean driving skills though.

If you lived down Here it would terrify you the way some of them Drive in Dry weather much less on Slick roads.

We just got our first dusting of snow of the season this morning, so I probably won't be doing much more riding for a while.

<sigh>

Now we're destined for days on end of gray skies and crap weather.

Good thing I haven't been reading any ride reports the last couple of months. Gotta have something cool to look at & read 'til riding season returns!

So to all of you who live in areas where ya can still ride - let's see some ride reports, mm-kay?
