I'm usually away from the forum days at a time. The "view new posts" option is my friend. Lately, several new posts have resurrected some really old original threads. In some, the most recent post is 6 months or even a year after the previous post. I think I'm looking at a current topic, only to finally look at the dates and realize it's history. I'm not really pissed, it's just slightly annoying... and wastes a little time. No big deal... just something I've noticed. Thanks.

Hey, we talked about this a year ago!

just kidding

It's a down-side to resurrecting a slug of old threads. I'm asking folks to exercise some reasonable judgement, pay attention to the last date of a thread, and don't bump old stuff because they think it's funny or "interesting" but outdated.

I think this is a shorter term phenomenon and will subside.

Guilty as charged... :black eye:

With my current task at hand, I am reading EVERY post in every thread from the Post Pool and moving them to the proper forum. And in this forum it is read-only until they are put back. And There are only a couple so far that i felt was worth reviving . :poster_oops:

I will not do this anymore.

Some of the "Northern" folks are probably spending more time on the board because they are out of riding season.
