Anticipation! clicky for pickys

 


Leaves down in the gorge (800 feet elevation below photo point) just getting started. Turning well (1/3 or so) up on the Plateau (see visitor center parking lot), but a cold downpour, 35 mile gusts and leaves blowing every which way convinced me to keep the camera in the dry on the way home. Hopefully more pics later.

New pics from Cranberry Glades and Highland Scenic Highway. The 14-15th gonna be good peepin peepers. It was a tough days scout, but somebody hadta do it!!

Nice Jim... very, very nice! I was out in NC today. The leaves are JUST starting to change here. I suppose elevation is going to be a good thing for the peeper.

Oh also, there is possibly of a joiner fr/ Ohio. Rick (OhioFJR1300) & his missus may be joining us.

Oh man... , the pics... You can see all of the big dots of color... and tea tree? OMG! Besides the red spruces you speak of I see the color coming out! I am so looking forward to this! I've never done a peeping ride b4. Thanks for the pics! Soon, soon we will be there. Oh yes! It's not terribly long now folks.
