Michael has longed for an off road machine that would take him on the back roads of California.

He was recently observed testing a new model with the hopes that in the future he could join Beemerdons and others on a trip to Mexico.

Good Luck with your new purchase Mike... Christmas came early this year!

MEM, if Old Michael will pack you on his FJR for the Baja California run next March, that's great. But if not, you are certainly welcome to ride my FJR to Cabo San Lucas and back to Chandler, Arizona. I am taking my BMW GS, the same one I rode to Mexico's Copper Canyon with the FJR Forum Crew, because it already has a Banjercito - Mexican Vehicle Import Permit assigned to it; which must be surrendered to Mexican Immigration before 5/5/11.

My F650GS Twin is too small for long distance 2-up riding, but my girlfriend Donna is flying into La Paz from Phoenix and back to Arizona from La Paz

Donna won't be doing more than 125 miles a day when we are at Land's End. We will be just seeing the sites within a 200 kilometer range of Dos Cabos

Feel free to use my Miss Lucy Liu, you will not be able to ride her to the Mexican Mainland though. This is where the Mexican burueacracy runs amuk.

You cannot have more than one "type" of vehicle in Mexico at the same time, for example: 1 truck, 1 moto, 1 jet ski, 1 trailer and 1 ATV; 5 permits.

If I decide to return by the La Paz to Mazatlan overnight Mexican ferry, just ride back to Estados Unidos with Khunajawdge, SkooterG y Miguel Viejo!!

We'd secure Mexican insurance from my favorite outfit: https://www.mexpro.com Pay for Lucy's insurance, the gas and your Carta Turista-Tourist Permit.

You're TOO kind, as usual :)

I was yanking OM's chain.

Good grief .... he'd likely toss himself into the San Andreas fault at the prospect of me on his FJR ! ;)

Ya'll have a safe Baja ride and have a Margarita for me? no salt on the rim, thanks :D

I think I saw him today over by Cal Expo.

Rich, I'll bet you make yourself laugh, huh?

...I like the shirt.

Mary Ellen, it's y'all.

Don't have to be a friggin' okie to know that. :D
Oh for Petey's sake, OM! Rushes is an Arkie not an Okie, an Arkie is an Okie with his brains beat out. And, I'm not entirely sure what Patriot Mike is!!!

DonnyBear, on the Food Network the other day, they were cooking racoon and possum.....and pigeon, I think. What state was that?
Well, if it was raccoon and possum: That was Arkansas. But, since you mentioned pigeon: That would be over the line in TexArkana! I will check with "El Rey del Mundo de Los Goobers" (Goober King of the World) Scott - fjrrider, I know he eats pigeons!!!
