Old Pic - Need help identifying my dad's Harley

I found some of my dad's old stuff and am trying to identify more specifics about his bike. I'm pretty sure this was taken about 1942 because I've got his memo book where he took the minutes as secretary of the Little Egypt Motorcycle Club in Southern Illinois. Any idea what year and model this is?
