Hey everyone, time is growing near for the start of EOM '07. I intend for check-in to be fairly informal. Here is what I am thinking:

For those arriving Thursday

I intend to be at Brier Inn on Thursday afternoon/evening for awhile before heading off to Jim Meadows' place for the night. I would appreciate it if the folks that have arrived come to see me after 6:00 so that I can mark you off as "there with us"... & pick up a couple of items that I have for you.

Please note: I am asking to not be approached about checking in before Thursday 6:00pm in order to give Wayne Reeves (Extrememarine) a chance to arrive at the hotel. He has little white envelopes for everyone that he's carrying with him to the meet. We intend to hand them out during the check-in process.

After I leave for the evening, Wayne is going to continue the check in process. For those looking for Wayne later that evening, he can always be found in the bar.

For those arriving Friday

I should be at the hotel bright and early Friday morning. I intend to again register folks if need be. Otherwise, it'll happen in the afternoon after I return from the day's riding.

Jim's wife, Creta managed to acquire 100 WV state maps. These will be given to the 1st 100 check ins... along w/ your little white envelope & a copy of the meet schedule.

I'm excited about the weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends & making new ones, too. Rubber side down everyone, Heidi

And a reminder: Please remember to print your own maps & text if you have the means to do so. There are not going to be enough extra copies to go around at the meet. To ensure you've got what ya' need, please print your own.

Question, If we check in with Wayne on Thursday evening and he is too hammered to remember. Should we check in with you again on Friday? :p :p

I will make up a sign explaining the check in process to cover the rare occasion that would find me incapacitated.

The sign & materials will be in place shortly before they run out of rum...

wayne.

And what the hell about me????? I won't even get there untill late Friday night, so ya'll won't see me till Saturday morning. (Unless there's a late party ya'll will be at.) Where's my "special" treatment?

Hey, with my mental capacity, don't I qualify for ADA accommodations?

Guess that means that someone will have to keep the light on for Scab.

Now, how late is the bar open? (must....not.....get......hammered.....must.......ride......;resistance if futile - I'll be at the bar).

We'll leave your T shirt outside your room. Howzat for special treatment?

:D What if you don't know I'm coming and I just show up Friday? Will I still be greated with open arms? I won't know till the sun comes up on Friday morning if I can do the trip. If I don't make it please tell Wheaton and Bugr to behave. :D

We'll know you're here when we see that 'other' motorcycle in the parking lot. :p

Is Mrs. Scab riding over on her new rig?

Hi Sherrie, I'm not Jim, I'm Heidi... absolutely, if you can get a hold of maybe 35 more maps we'd be golden. I think there is 135ish bikes signed up. I've lost count... & interest in counting them.

Oh course you are welcome Rob. I think that I discussed the dinner situation with you, already. Not sure that if you wanted to participate that I can get you in.

And Scab, maybe Wayne will stay up late to roll out the red carpet for you. Looking forward to seeing you again, Heidi

Edit: I just reread your post. You are coming in FRIDAY night. Well hell, expect to get mauled by all the drinkers in the parking lot.

Only if you have beer.

A Dumb *** ???

I don't feel that's fair.

:)
Unfair? Maybe. Accurate? Probably.

Maybe it is time you gave up the short bus. ;)
But, I like the blinky-light on top!

Is Mrs. Scab riding over on her new rig?
No, she's got to work and it waaaaay too early in her riding career. We haven't even gotten off our road yet.

Hey, we get to compare scars!

I'll need a pillow, too.

Just roll up the T shirt. ;) :D
But...but...it'll stink by then.
