So I'm on the ole FeeJ, making my way back from getting my super cheapy Supertech ST7317 oil filter so I can do a an oil refresh 20.50w, and I pull up to a light, I happen to glance over at a guy in the left hand turn lane, on a nice yellow Suzuki GSXR... He's picking it up off the ground. I didn't see him drop it or why he might have dropped it (a stoppie gone bad?), but he looked real embarrassed. :blush2: It's too bad with all his SoCal-cool matching yellow helmet Mo-hawk goodie on :punk: , and his T-Shirt and shorts, he's now being seen by all as a squid.

He fixed his mirrors and looked at the bike a bit, and when I road past him I just shrugged and put up an arm to say, What up Dude! He didn't acknowledge me and I'm sure he wanted to put this behind him real fast. :fie:

Hopefully it was lack of experience, and he's now smart enough to realise that he should do a MSF course. Naive, yes, but I'm an optimist.

He might have been a total noob. When I first started riding, I came to a light at the top of a hill that was changing from green to red, yellow happened real quick. I hit my breaks, came to an abrupt stop, the forks rebounded as they should and silly ole me forgot to put my feet on the ground. I just fell over right there. :( Got up, picked up the bike, rolled it to the shoulder not looking at anyone, kept my head down, checked for damage, let everyone go and then got back on the road like nothing ever happened. :withstupidsmiley: Never did a repeat, was wearing ATGATT and only bruised my pride. Just as lond as he learned from it, that is all that matters.

Sorry........guys that drop scoots at lights are gay....or want to be..........

When I was 18ish I had just returned home at about 3am after a 2hr. very cold foggy ride and as I came to the only damn stop sign in town before making it in my drive way I completly forgot to put my foot down. So there I am under the stop light in the middle of town feeling very dumb. Only to look up to see leo setting with no lights watching me. I just picked myself and bike up, gave us both a once over and quitely rode away. They probaly thought I had sufferd enough and let me go.

Oh no.

A number of years back wearing a normal every day pair of hiking boots I got the laces somehow stuck on the right food peg. The wind blew in that direction while I was at a stop light with only my left foot on the ground and it blew me right over. It might have been preventable if I have not double knotted my laces, or better yet had proper boots on.

I hope I am not gay, I wear proper boots these days.
